Shumaila Islam has completed her M.Phil.in (Studio Practice) from Research Center College of Art and Design, University of the Punjab, Lahore. She has acquired training of traditional calligraphy and Turkish Illumination from CCRS National College of Arts Lahore. She has participated in various group shows on different national platforms. She has participated in international calligraphy exhibition in Turkey. Currently, she is producing her work in Artist Practice Program at Shakir Ali Museum, Lahore.
